Refurbishing a cars and truck battery eliminates the sulfate from the plates so it can run a lot more efficiently. It doesn't recover the strength of the battery to 100%, yet it does come close. The lead sulfate that has solidified and taken shape, which can't be eliminated by billing, can be eliminated by an additional process, called desulfation.
